Titles. It's difficult to be different and creative on every title. I think I have finally
solved this problem. Provo Crafts Cricut. It's a personal electronic cutter that will cut
different fonts and sizes just like a printer prints. The difference is that you don't
need a computer to use the Cricut. It cuts letters and shapes ranging from 1" to
5-1/2" tall and up to 11" long. Cricut can cut a variety of papers including cardstock up
to .5mm thick. It can go with you to take to your next crop.
Like a printer needing ink, the Cricut needs a cartridge to make the different letters
and shapes. I will probably use it mostly for titles, but it's use is endless. Cricut comes
with one cartridge, "George" and "Basic Shapes". The cartridge comes with a keypad
overlay to help make it user friendly. The cartridges cost more than I'd expect. New
cartridges are starting at $89. But I think you save money in the long run by making
your own die cuts.
Having the ability to create die cuts that match your page as your making the page,
saves a lot of time. It also makes a better Scrapbook page. I consider the Cricut
priceless since now I can finally put titles on my Scrapbook page with ease.
